<aside> 💡 Faults reported on vehicles, trailers or dollies are managed by moving them through stages from the initial stage of Open, to a final stage of either Closed or Rejected with relevant information and documentation captured at each stage. This page describe the fault management process.

View and Filter Faults

To view a list of recently created faults

• Expand the Maintenance (1) menu
• Click on Faults (2) to open a list of recently created faults
• The list can be filtered by Date range (3), Registration (4), ID (5) or Vehicle Type (6)

Fault Stages

A fault can be in one of the following five stages:

• Open: The fault has been reported and is awaiting action
• Monitoring: The fault is being observed for changes or potential resolution.
• Scheduled for Repair: A repair has been planned for the fault.
• Closed: The fault has been resolved.
• Rejected: The reported fault has been determined to be invalid or not requiring repair.

Fault stages are shown as tabs (7) above the table. After applying filters, the number of faults matching each stage is shown next to the respective tab.

Click the View details (8) button to examine a specific prestart record in full.
