<aside> 💡 Hubfleet makes sharing vehicle documents and permits with drivers easy. Documents or permits can be added to the system and then attached to a vehicle, trailer or dolly. When a driver selects an asset with a document/permit associate with it, the Hubfleet app downloads the document and stores it on the device so it is available for inspection, even if the device is offline. This article explains how to create a document type, add a document and attached the document to an asset.

To add fleet documents/permits to your account

• Navigate to the Fleet (1) page
• Click on the Documents (2) tab
• To create a document type, click the Add New Type (3).

• In the Create New Type pop, click Add (4) and enter a name For example, A Double Permit

• To add a document/permit click Add Document (5)

• Fill in the relevant details in the Add Document
  • select the Vehicles (7) you want to attached the document/permit to.
  • Upload your PDF (8)
  • and Save (9)

Once a document has been added using the above steps, you can also add or remove the document to/from specific assets.

• From the Fleet (10) screen, click on the tab that corresponds to the asset type you want to attach the document to (Vehicles, Trailers, Dollies (11))
• Find the specific asset (the vehicle, trailer, or dolly). Click the View Details (12) button next to it

• Click on the Documents (13) tab
