💡 Drivers are onboarded through a process of invitation and acceptance, a bit like a LinkedIn or Facebook connection. This section details the process for onboarding new drivers and offboarding those who are no longer part of your fleet.

Onboarding Drivers
- Go to "Drivers" Page: Navigate to the "Drivers (1)" section of your Hubfleet account.
- Invite Driver: Click the "Invite Driver (2)" button in the upper right corner.
- Enter Mobile Number: In the pop-up window, enter the driver's personal mobile phone number (even if they use a company device).
- Pending Invitation: The invited driver will appear in the "Invited Drivers (3)" tab.
- Drivers new to Hubfleet: They will receive an SMS with a link to download the Hubfleet EWD app and create an account.
- Drivers already using Hubfleet: They can accept the invitation directly within their Hubfleet EWD app.
- Active Driver: Once the invitation is accepted, the driver will move to the "Active Drivers" tab.
Offboarding drivers
- Deactivate: To offboard a driver, locate them in the "Active Drivers (4)" tab and use the "Actions (5)" button to deactivate their account.
- Record Retention: Deactivated driver records are retained for 3 years for compliance purposes, but they no longer count towards your subscription seat limit.
