To use the Schedule Checker,

• Go to Fatigue(1) > Schedule Checker(2).
• Click the Shifts (3) tab.
• Click Create Shift (4).

Specify a series of work and rest activities based on estimates of how long a transport task is likely to take. Allocate sufficient work time including time for driving and associated work activities. Include rest breaks to ensure the shift can be completed safely and within mandated work and rest limits. Specify

• Shift Name (5): enter a recognisable name of the transport task
• Number of Activities (6): specify the total number of work and rest activities. A series of alternating work and rest activities will appear.
• Durations (7): enter the duration of each work and rest activity.
• Totals (8): the total work and rest are added up below.

Create as many shifts as you need to represent the work patterns in your proposed schedule. Then combine these shifts into a schedule by

• Click on the Schedules (9) tab
• Click Create Schedule (10)

Combine shifts into a schedule by specifying

• Schedule Name (11): enter a recognisable name of the schedule task
• Work Option (12): Specify the rule set for the schedule from a pull down list
• Number of Days (13): specify the total number of days in the schedule
