Service Groups: Tailoring Maintenance to Your Fleet
Service Groups allow you to define specific maintenance schedules and tasks for different types of assets in your fleet. This means you can create unique service plans based on:
- Vehicle type: Set up different service groups for your prime movers, flatbed trailers, box trucks, and any other type of vehicle in your fleet.
- Make and model: Create specialized service schedules for your Volvo trucks, Kenworth trucks, or any other specific make and model.
- Usage: Define different service intervals for vehicles that are used more frequently or under demanding conditions.
With Hubfleet, you can create as many Service Groups as you need, ensuring that each asset receives the right maintenance at the right time

💡
Hubfleet uses a simple, cascading system for service types.
Think of it like this: Service "A" covers the most basic maintenance needs. Service "B" includes everything in "A," plus some additional checks and tasks. Service "C" includes everything in "B" (and therefore "A"), and so on, up to service "E," which is the most comprehensive.
Here's a quick summary:
- A: Basic service (included in all other service types)
- B: Includes A + more
- C: Includes A & B + more
- D: Includes A, B & C + more
- E: The most comprehensive service (includes A, B, C & D)
