With Hubfleet's Fit for Duty check you can:

Fit for Duty in Hubfleet is the pre-shift fitness check every driver completes before starting work. The record keeper configures up to 5 questions (e.g. "I have had at least 7 hours' sleep", "I am free from any condition that could impair my driving"). Drivers respond on the mobile app — accept or decline each question — and any decline both blocks the shift start and alerts the Safety Manager by email.

Coming later: risk-based Fit for Duty. We're building a richer version that ties checks to specific Risk Controls, supports role-based check sets, supervisor-conducted checks, and periodic medical evidence. This article covers what ships today.

How Fit for Duty fits into your SMS

Fit for Duty sits on the preventive side of the bow-tie. Risk Controls define what the operation needs people to do safely; Fit for Duty confirms each driver is in a fit state to do it on the day. It's the last attestation between configuration (controls, training, P&Ps) and operation (the shift itself).
