Here's a general guideline:

• Start a new shift: After you've completed your major rest break (7 hours).
• End your shift: Before you start your next major rest break (7 hours). Make sure you've switched to "Rest" mode in the app before ending your shift.

You have full control over your records before ending a shift: edit, delete, or even delete the entire shift. However, keep in mind that once a shift is ended, you can no longer make any changes. This is to comply with the NHVR's EWD standard.
