This is Step 3 A) of building your SMS — once your Hazard Register, controls and risk processes are set up, drivers can start feeding the system from the field.

Field hazard reporting lets any driver or supervisor raise a hazard directly from the Hubfleet mobile app. Reports include photos, GPS coordinates and timestamps. From there the hazard appears in the Hazard Register on the web portal, where your safety or compliance team picks it up and runs it through the risk management process.

Mobile is for reporting. Web is for managing. Drivers and supervisors can only report a hazard from the mobile app — fill in the form and submit. Everything else (risk rating, controls, actions, status changes, escalation, closure) happens on the web portal and is the safety or compliance manager's job.
